of course it is aimed at that mega event market. It is am MSR lamp not a xenon therefore the lamp replacement will cost $300 not $2k. Unlikely to be the ballast as a blown ballast results in the fuse blowing in a rather spectacular manner on startup of the fixture. It sounds more likely to be a fuse on the main board then. The Prowashes will not be under manufacturer warranty. This is probably an internal fuse on the main board.
