The sockets marked 3 and 4 on the pearl don't work but if you use the splitter cables you'll get 1 & 3 together and 2 & 4. These splitters need to go directly into the pearl, you can't split them anywhere else.

Short reply: the laser could go on it's own universe, or with other things on stage. You could have a universe just for stage stuff, if you're not moving things around too much or the stuff we'd only be using on stage (eg, atomics + laser) Long rambling reply, including the same word used twice with...
