I dont know if this is old news, but when i was browsing the avo's website i came across THIS and think that it might be quite hand for people to use to get to grips with the pearl, should it ever decide to be nice and work again

Thanks for the heads up, but as far as i can see it is still working just as well as it always has. I wouldn't say it is that dire at the moment, people just need to not rely on master programmes and change movements on the lights individually (desks 17-19 etc).
