If anyone sees any bugs at all, let me know. I don't think that there was any problems in the re-install, but i don't really have the time atm to check!

cheers,

the Road Hog does look nice, though as people have mentioned on the blue room, i think that red LED could get annoying after a while! How much would one set you back? Our head LX is thinking getting us a new desk for our main venue and i know he was thinking about a hog, this might make it a bit mor...

back in the day (01/02) the venue was like that. I can't remember the reasoning behind changing it, but i think it did make sense. Plus if you move it then you have problems with the direction of the sound.

back in 03/04 V2 had rig that could be used for theatre. All it needed was general washes and it was fine. "plays for a pound" used the venue most wednesdays (straight after the ents meeting, which was at 1 then).

And its jsut as easy to use the enigma...

pearl is the best live music desk you have, as the enigma is the best club desk. sirius is the best for backing up live music.

it's depressing when that happens. I remember djing a britpop night and there was no more than 6 people in until 11, then we had a bout a hundred, i think that was one of the more successful saturday bops!

hey, i cant remember the exact model, the venue have had it for ages, tis a pretty standard DMX to D54 converter. The two Distros are opto-isolated, that was something i made sure of! I realised about the potential of bounce back, but *so far* everything is alright. I'll prolly make up a couple term...

not that i've come across so far, tho it's not been tested in a gig situation yet.

edit: this problem did cross my mind, but when it worked fine in the intial testing i didnt see the need to make up any terminators.
