Eurovision 2007

Post by niall »

bloody hell, just read the tech spec for eurovision, 'tis rather ridiculous! they had three 72 Avo Racks, aswell as a 36 Avo and a whole heap of other dimmers! Then you take into account the other 400 Movers, all controlled by 10 Grand MA (though, if it was the same as last year, they were only using 5 at any one time)

imagine that in Venue 1!

Impressive...

Just think that with six programmers working full time, it would take them the whole of the first term just to program our big event.

P.S. The accuracy of the equipment list is far above what we could ever do.

Eurovision 2009 has just happened and once again another technical display to be proud of. Anything anyone particularly liked or disliked on the tech front?

The swimming pool suspended above the stage with fancy lighting just now was quite something!

Saw them a fair few times in the fringe. Excellent show, and it was all done in a tent! Impressive to say the least!

Just noticed that there is in fact a 2009 diary around: clickity-click. I'll no doubt be having a read of that tomorrow instead of revising. :P

Yeah the diary has been around for a couple of years now, I cannot remember who discovered it out of us lot but always remember to check around march of each year. The stories and banter are just fantastical with the Eurovision.
