Bop Play List of past few years request

Post by PhilTheMerEnt »

Hi everyone

I've had an e-mail asking what are the most common bop tunes of the past couple of years. In particular, the guy is after the name of a track which he thinks was sweedish.

I've said Mr Brightside, Put Your Hands Up For Detroit, Monster, Ruby, Stronger, The Way I Are & Calvin Harris (The Girls) were popular and often played. Couldn't remember names of others.

The reason the guy wants to know is that he's finished his degree and returned to the USA where he now wants to download some 'bop tunes' to remind him of his time here.

Any help guys??
Cheers, Phil

Could he mean Dragostea din tei by O-Zone? Though I doubt anyone would actually want to have that song

You're missing lots of classics, like the proclaimers, queen, ghostbusters theme...?

Or it's not anything by Basshunter (the originals of which were Swedish), such as Boten Anna or DoTA, was it?

It could also be DJ Gunther, I was at a party earlier this week in the Netherlands where I now reside and my Belgium friends were mad about him.
