G&S turn around

Post by niall »

ok, as you all know we're emabrking on a bop setup in 30 minutes on thursday, friday and saturday.

Helen and i have organised as much stuff as possible so that the change around is easier for us all.

There will be a dress rehersal on wednesday starting at 6 (i think) so whoever is doing the three bops could come along they can see whats happening and we can see if we can do it! we'll also organise who does what and when you've to come in

the show run is startin at 6. So the turn around wont be until half 8 ish. So those of you who can come and help with the practice run might wanna be there about 8. It would be good if as many of you as poss who are gonna do the actual nights could be there so we all know what has to be done and we dont get in each others way!

Turn around list of jobs

Post by Richard »

I made a list of the thing we need to do for the turn around, I don't I missed anything off, however I may have done! I left it to the right of the porters desk (as you look from it), I tried to seperate the jobs into about 5 groups, so each person can take one group of tasks, and I should run smoothly. I made it so that in theory one list of jobs won't rely on another one (apart from a couple, but they will be done first in other tasks, if that makes sense - probablly not, so never mind - just look at the sheet!

I'll hopefully be able to make it in. See you there I hope.

I'm ready to repatch the lighting racks. I have my patch plan and have been thinking about what helen's managed to leave in for my ease!

See you all tonight, however I won't be able to be there for 5 like I said earlier, but I'll definately be there before 9. I have more work sitting on my shoulders that I had planned for.

bleh.. we made it too!

a few minor hicups during the night which we should sort tomorow (mainly musicians)

but some stats from tonights performance:

start: 0:00:00
end of act one: 1:12:30
end of act two: 2:24:21 (or there abouts, i dont actually know what this time was for!)
start of turn around: 2:26:47
end of turn around: 2:53:32

and that was at 9:57 i think! :D

well done all!

stats from fridays performance

start: 0:00:00
end of act one: 1:12:18
start of act two: 1:32:56
end of act two: 2:28:18
end of turn around: 2:45:37

so we were done by about 9:45!!! :D
