The tribal event in Fresher?s week (as distinct from ?The Freaks?) was a great success and will now be repeated a couple of times a semester.
More comedy is planned and we hope to be added to the ?of the curb? circuit, they have a number of very big name comedians on their books.
The Multicolour on Tuesday had a turnout of 507, which considering the horrible weather is pretty good.

Crew was assigned to forthcoming events as in the attached document (omitted from the published minuets to protect crew confidentiality)
Committee Business
Director of Events and Services
Phil welcomed the crew back for a new semester; thanked everyone for their hard work over Freshers? week and apologised for no food being provided during the meeting.
A great deal of thanks is due to Pedro, Tom and Keith for all their hard work around the Freshers? fare, well done to all three of you.
SSC Entertainments Officer
Had no business
Building Supervisor
Bruce informed the crew that all of the buildings ladders are now secured and ladder permits must be completed before ladders can be used.
Bruce repeated his regular call to the crew to warn the committee early if they are feeling overworked so that we can put the contingency plans into action. He also asked that if members of the crew agree to do something, and is then not able to do it could you please let the Ents Officer or the DoES know ASAP.
Bruce was particularly grateful to Alice for all her hard work cleaning the ents cupboard in particular her following the idea he wants all the crew to follow, if you find something that you don?t understand please put it to one side so that someone else can identify it later.
Finally Bruce reiterated finding from the debrief after the fire alarm in Freshers? week:
1. The main PA should be wired to ensure that the relay cuts it out: Matthew will ensure that this happens
2. On hearing the fire alarm all crew should immediately evacuate; please switch on the strip lights as you go and blackout the effects lights (when the grand master is working!).
Technical Coordinators
Adam asked that notes of all broken or partially broken equipment.
Please be careful when programming and operating as the new moving head lights have a tendacy to cause the octagon to swing.
Josh has also added a list of potential small upgrades to the forum, please read comment and add to as you see fit. He also asks that people work on the Ents wiki and informed us that he has prepared a new DMX Patch List.
