Found a site called Blue Room today. Probably some of you will already know it, but it seems to have quite a lot of useful information on it, particularly in its wiki. Worth a read, perhaps. It even has an article on gaffer gunk!

Aye, I've been looking at Blue Room for the past few years for theatre lighting related bits and pieces. Decent resource.
